Date Posted：09/13/2014 08:57 AMCopy HTML Momma Belle's was founded in 1789 by Adam Wilkerson on the tract of land that eventually became the Georgetown region of Belle Meade.  Wilkerson named it after his beloved mother, Christina "Belle" Cambell-Wilkerson.  The tavern style restaurant has been part of the towns culture and history since the very beginning.  The building itself was restored in the early 1950s.  The restaurant serves local favorites as well as a variety of sea food dishes.
