Guest_Keara comes into the barn talking with the head farmhand about a machine that had broken down and the best way to fix itGuest_Keara "go ahead and get the part..thats the one machine we cant have done, Fred" she says, and Fred nods before leaving the barn, nodding to Ryder and Kalli as he leaves..Keara smiles at Ryder "hey handsome..hows Star liking the double grooming? Hi Kalli" says as she goes over to themGuest_Kalli says in a distracted voice...Guest_Keara looks at Ryder when she hears Kalli's tone, brow raisedGuest_Ryder gently puts his arms around his wife...kissing her..."Keep at it Kalli...you are doing great...we'll be right over here..." and with that...he guides Keara over to the tack room..."How was your day?"Guest_Keara feel like I bombed my psychology exam, then the hay baler, really miss Kenzi and Mara...ready to strangle my forensic project partner...." she stops and takes in a deep breathGuest_Ryder smirks..."Sounds like a stressful day..."Guest_Jacen arrives back on Rose Acres and heads to the main house then heads to the barn, going in, and just stands there, watching Kalli with the horseGuest_Keara gives him a lookGuest_Kalli continues to brush the horse...trying to keep her mind focused on the task at hand...Guest_Jacen goes over and stands in front of the horse, feeding her an apple, "you really are a natural with the horses"Guest_Keara : how did that go? and yeah I know, but really not sure how my powers will be affectedGuest_Keara : good choice with Star in keeping her occupiedGuest_Kalli looks over at him...Guest_Jacen smiles at her "feel up to anything, sweetie?"Guest_Keara : she's still not sleeping?Guest_Keara I get what you mean, sweetie..." she glances out of the room and sees Jacen "well Jace is back"Guest_Kalli starts to put the brushes back on the shelves...cleaning upGuest_Keara : that I dont know...this is all new to me tooGuest_Ryder : same here...the longer she remains in this state...the worse it will become...she is just what...19...your age...what should she be doing at this age if she had had a normal upbriningGuest_Keara : going to parties, dating, those too,Guest_Kalli finishes what she is doing...Guest_Keara smirks "yeah and its a good thing that Jace is patient with her...if it was me, bored....swimming, riding, archery"Guest_Jacen grins at her "lets see if they can join us, if not we'll still go into the forest"Guest_Keara : hmm....Guest_Jacen holds his hand out to her "come on"Guest_Kalli takes his handGuest_Jacen when she takes his hand, they go over to the tack room "hey..we were going on a hike, wondering if you guys would like to come"Guest_Ryder glances at his wife...Guest_Keara glances back at him before looking back at Jace and Kalli "can we take a rain check?"Guest_Kalli nodsGuest_Ryder smiles...Guest_Keara : thats fine...glad you didnt say Hades, he's been moody the past few daysGuest_Keara laughs "you two get going and have fun"Guest_Keara smiles at herGuest_Kalli nodsGuest_Ryder keeps his expression neutral...Guest_Jacen gently leads Kalli away and they start saddling the horsesGuest_Keara : well while they are doing that, lets go get some foodGuest_Kalli goes with Jacen...doing as she had been taught to saddle the horses...Guest_Keara takes his hand and they head back to the houseGuest_Jacen they get the horses saddled and he mounts Luci "ready whenever you are"Guest_Kalli carefully gets on Star...Guest_Keara i know, but not sure on how to proceed" says as they walk into the kitchen and she goes over to the fridge, looking in "hmmm.....lets see.."Guest_Jacen grins at her, clicking his tongue and leading Luci out of the barn and towards the forestGuest_Kalli follows suite...leading Star out of the barn...following him on LuciGuest_Keara : question is what do they teach there....and registration is coming up....Guest_Jacen glances back at her, giving her a challenging smile "race you"Guest_Kalli looks confused by that notion...Guest_Keara ok...hmm..." pulls out a package of chicken and goes over to the counter "well there is an animal science class being offered this coming semester" goes over to the pantry and pulls out flour, bread crumbs setting them on the counterGuest_Kalli nodsGuest_Jacen grins and urges Luci into a run, towards the forestGuest_Ryder : the whole issue is we have to find something for her to do that will give her a challenge...but still keep her safe...if she starts to attend classes at the college...she has to physically register for classes...which puts her into the imperial archives...if they are running facial rec...the Emperor will know where she isGuest_Kalli speeds up on Star...but she is not as experianced a rider as Jacen...Guest_Keara grabs a few bowls out of the cupboard and starts putting ingredients into each one "yeah..I was looking for online classes too, by then I should be ready to pop"Guest_Jacen keeps Luci at a steady pace, easy enough for Kalli to keep upGuest_Keara : well I do need a fun class to take....the catalouge is on the table, the online courses are bookmarked if you want to look while I work on dinnerGuest_Kalli tries to keep up...but she is falling further behind...Guest_Ryder picks up the cataloge...flipping through it...Guest_Jacen stops when he gets to the pond and waits for herGuest_Keara what veggies do you want with the chicken?" asks as she opens up the package and starts dipping pieces of chicken into the dry and wet ingredientsGuest_Kalli after a bit...she catches up...Guest_Jacen you did great, sweetie..." he dismounts and goes over to her, holding the reigns to steady starGuest_Keara smiles as she gets the chicken into the preheated oven, and then washes her hands before starting on the carrots "see anything that catches your attention?"Guest_Jacen : yes you did..and the more you ride soon you'll be better than me...dismount and lets give the horses a bit of a restGuest_Kalli carefully dismountsGuest_Keara sounds good..." gets the carrots cooking before going over to him "and i was thinking maybe a narcotics course for me"Guest_Jacen drops the reigns when she dismounts and stretches "have had some fun times out here by this pond"Guest_Ryder bristles at that suggestionGuest_Keara : I found it interesting when I could breath while i was working with the teamGuest_Keara : good point and you just dont want them dressing me up so cheaply....maybe intel?Guest_Keara smirks, kissing his cheek "you are so cute when you get protective" then goes to check on the food, adding mac and cheese and potatoes to the stoveGuest_Jacen grins mischievously as he picks her up and throws her into the pond before diving in after herGuest_Kalli screams as he throws her into the pond...she surfaces...gasping for breath...Guest_Ryder smirks...Guest_Jacen surfaces next to her "I did that"Guest_Kalli splashes at him...Guest_Keara splashes her back, laughingGuest_Jacen splashes her back, laughingGuest_Keara so I'll add the intel class, no real challenge there" she checks on the chickenGuest_Kalli tries to cover her face as he splashes her back...a rumble of thunder peals across the sky...Guest_Keara : welcome...but you have to admit I did really good under coverGuest_Jacen glances up when he hears the thunder "ok....um...seriously?"Guest_Kalli glares at him...swimming toward the edge of the pond...slipping in the soft cold mud...Guest_Jacen follows her and catches her when she slips "oh come on, that was fun"Guest_Keara takes the chicken out of the oven and sets it on the counter, letting it sit for a few minutes "I got that impression at the office that one day...what was I supposed to do, Ryder? "Guest_Ryder looks down...sheepishly..."Your job..." |

I didnt have much of a choice, unless I was to dress like a nun and have the whole operation blown." says as she slings food onto a plate before taking to the table and slamming it down in front of him then goes back to plate her food  didnt think about that..here let me help you out

Jacen smirks "didnt realize it was going to be freezing..." manages to get her out of the pond, and goes over to the horses, pulling off one of the blankets, wrapping it around her |

He smiles and helps her back onto her horse before mounting his and they head back to the cottage. Once there, he goes over to the fire place and starts a fire "would you like hot tea or hot chocolate to warm up after changing?"
